Services Offered
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

Your provider will be with you for the duration of your treatment. They will help you set intentions, discuss concerns, and assess any status changes before the ketamine administration. Once you are comfortably positioned, your provider will administer your ketamine. The ketamine experience is internal in nature, and there is little interaction while you are under the effects of ketamine.
Once the ketamine starts wearing off, you have the option to engage and/or reflect on themes, thoughts, sensations, etc. experienced. Your provider can document these reflections to continue to identify themes and help integrate the experience that day and in future sessions.
Administration options
Ketamine comes in a variety of formulations. During your initial assessment your provider will walk you through the options and help you figure out what works best for you.
Intramuscular ketamine
The ketamine is administered via a needle directly into the deltoid muscle, akin to receiving a vaccine. It is a small needle and the medication is generally well tolerated with minimal pain. Onset typically occurs within 5 minutes post-injection, with effects lasting around 45 minutes.
Sublingual ketamine
Ketamine is compounded in oral lozenges called troches (tro-keys)designed to dissolve gradually. This route of administration allows for absorption through the oral mucosa, with effects typically manifesting after approximately 15 minutes lasting about 60 minutes.
